Jadamba inducts Sakurai OL475SDP

Jagadamba Press is inducting a new Sakurai OL475SDP printing press from Japan to augment its high quality sheet – fed print quality. The machine will and to Jagadamba Press' capacity to meet customer demand at peak periods and the machine is ideally suited for magazine printing, and its lower running costs will provide a competitive edge. The machine has a maximum sheet size of 765x600 mm with channel type feeder, which is an advantageous feature because two feed boards and preparation for the second job can be done when the first job is running. This is generally preferred by Japanese customers as useful feature for short run jobs, and will also be attractive to customers in Nepal.

उच्च स्तरीय छपाइलाई अझै गुणात्मक वृद्धि गर्नका लागि जगदम्बा प्रेसले जापानबाट नयाँ छपाइको मेसिन ‘साकुराई ओएल ४७५५ डिपी’ ल्याउँदै छ । यो मेसिनले कामको अत्यधिक चाप परेको बेलामा ग्राहकहरूको मागलाई पुरा गर्न जगदम्बा प्रेसको कार्य–क्षमतालाई बढाउने छ । विशेष गरी यो मेसिनलाई म्यागेजिन छपाइका लागि प्रयोगमा ल्याइने छ र यसले प्रतिस्पर्धा चुलिएका बेला न्यूनतम लागत खर्चमा काम सम्पन्न गर्ने छ । यो मेसिनमा ७६५ x ६०० मिमीका अधिकतम आकारका कागज छाप्ने क्षमता छ । यो मेसिनमा कस्तो विशेषता छ भने यसका काम गर्ने दुई तह हुन्छन् र पहिलो काम भइरहेको बेला दोस्रो कामको तयारी गर्न सकिन्छ । चाँडै काम सिध्याउनका लागि जापानी ग्राहकहरूले यो मेसिनलाई असाध्यै मन पराएका छन् । आशा छ, नेपाली ग्राहकहरूले पनि यसलाई मन पराउने छन् ।

Jagadamba Press has augmented its post-press operations with a brand new Horizon AFC-564A computerised cross folder machine. The equipment doesn't just cut down on the speed of folding but also makes folds more accurate. The AFC-564A can fold up to 35,000 sheets per hour in 14 pre-programmed folds or up to 200 custom fold formats. The folding machine can handle sizes up to 22x34 in. The post press division now has two perfect binding machines, one magazine gatherer stitcher with three knife-trimmer, a computerised cutting machine and a UV-lamination machine.

नयाँ 'होराइजन एएफसी- ५६४ए' मेसिन
जगदम्बा प्रेसले अत्याधुनिक कम्प्युटरजडित नयाँ 'होराइजन एएफसी- ५६४ए' क्रस फोल्डर मेसिन जडान गरेर छापिएपछिको कार्यसञ्चालनलाई बढोत्तरी गरेको छ । यस मेसिनले जुन गतिमा कागज पट्याइरहेको हुन्छ, त्यही गतिमा काट्छ र पट्याइएको सामग्री पनि एकदम दुरुस्त हुन्छ । यो एएफसी- ५६४ए मेसिनले पहिल्यै तयार पारिएका १४ ओटा मोडका ढाँचामा अथवा २०० ओटा आवश्यकता अनुसार तयार पार्न सकिने मोडका ढाँचाहरूमा एक घण्टामा ३५,००० पानासम्म पट्याउन सक्छ । यो पट्याउने मेसिनले २२x३४ इन्चसम्मका आकारमा काम गर्न सक्छ । छपाइपछिको शाखामा हाल दुईओटा बढिया बाइन्डिङ मेसिन, तीनओटा नाइफ-ट्रिमर (छुरी-कैँची) भएको एउटा म्यागजिन सङ्कलक स्टिचर, कम्प्युटरजडित काट्ने मेसिन र एउटा युभी-लेमिनेसन (पराबैजनीरोधक) मेसिन रहेका छन् ।

In the year since the acquisition of the state-of-the-art Mistubishi Diamond 3000 5+C Jagadamba press has more than doubled the volume of work.

Clients are gradually availing of the fifth-colour and online coating facility that the Mitsubishi is able top provide. Customer satisfaction with the results is very high, and awareness is spreading in the market about the need for a coated surface for covers and colour prints. In addition, Jagadamba has also added an offline thermal coating unit to do glossy and matted coating for the covers of finished products. This is in addition to the spot varnishing unit which has become very popular.

The new equipment and their versatility has meant that Jagadamba has been breaking new ground with printing most of Nepal's trekking maps, magazines like WAVE, ECS, Living, VOW, boss, Shangri-la, books like nepa-laya's 'Never Again' and reprints of 'A People War', large billboard size posters for feature films like Sano Sansar as well as the annual reports of banks, school and college brochures.

The machines at Jagadamba Press have been carrying out record production volume for the first three months of 2008. New clients include Samaya weekly magazine, TGIF Supplement of The Himalayan Times, Sikshyak Monthly.

In addition, Jagadamba has produced the annual general reports of most major banks in Nepal including Nabil, Kumari, Laxmi, Ace, etc. New books printed at the press include Palpasa Cafe in English.

Jagadamba has entered into a strategic partnership with ScanPro/Wordscape under which the design and scanning company has moved into the Jagadamba Press premises where it is installing a Screen Computer to Plate machine that will be caliberated for optimum production quality with Jagadamba‚Äôs own Mitsubishi Diamond 3000.

The factory floor of Jagadamba Press are being adjusted for the arrival in mid-April of the Mitsubishi 5-colour extended delivery with coater machine which will be 15 metres long and 3 metres wide.

२०६४, फागुन/चैत संवत् २०६३ को अन्तिम तीन महिनामा जगदम्बा प्रेसका मेसिनहरूबाट उत्पादनको परिमाणामा कीर्तिमान नै कायम भएको छ । नयाँ ग्राहकहरूमा समय साप्ताहिक खबरपत्रिका, द हिमालयन टाइम्सको पूरक पृष्ठ टिजिआइएफ तथा शिक्षक मासिक समावेश थिए । यसका साथै जगदम्बा प्रेसले नबिल, कुमारी, लक्ष्मी, एस लगायतका अधिकांश प्रमुख बैङ्कहरूका वार्षिक प्रतिवेदनहरूको पनि छपाइ गरेको छ । प्रेसमा छापिएको नयाँ किताबमा 'पल्पसा क्याफे'को अङ्ग्रेजी संस्करण रहेको छ । जगदम्बाले 'स्क्यानप्रो/वर्डस्केप'सित कार्यगत साझेदारी सुरु गरेको छ, जसअन्तर्गत सो डिजाइन तथा स्क्यानिङ कम्पनी जगदम्बा प्रेसकै हाताभित्र सरेको छ र यहाँ त्यसले मेसिन प्लेट तयार गर्ने एउटा स्क्रिन कम्प्युटर जडान गर्दै छ । त्यसलाई जगदम्बाको आफ्नै मित्सुबिसी डायमन्ड ३००० अनुरूपको गुणस्तरीय उत्पादन गर्न अत्यधिक बढोत्तरी गरिनेछ । १५ मिटर लामो र ३ मिटर चौडा रङलेपन मेसिनसहितको विस्तारित ५-रङयुक्त छपाइ गर्ने मित्सुबिसी मेसिन वैशाखको सुरुतिर आउने हुँदा त्यसैका लागि जगदम्बा प्रेसको कारखानाको भुइँलाई तयार पारिँदै छ ।

To mark its 50th anniversary this year, Jagadmaba Press has placed an order for a state-of-the-art Mitsubishi 3000LS Diamond printing press that will be the most modern printing press in Nepal when it goes into operation in March 2008. The D3000LS is capable of printing five-colours and has a coating unit. It can print paper sizes up to 1,020mm x 720mm at speeds of up to 16,000 sheets per hour.

यस वर्ष जगदम्बा प्रेसले आफ्नो ५०औँ वार्षिकोत्सव मनाउने सन्दर्भमा एउटा अत्याधुनिक मित्सुबिसी ३००० एलएस डायमन्ड प्रिन्टिङ प्रेस स्थापना गरेको छ र २०६४ फागुन-चैत्रबाट सञ्चालनमा आएपछि यो नेपालकै सबभन्दा आधुनिक छापाखाना हुनेछ । यो डी ३००० एलएस मेसिनले पाँचओटा रङहरूमा छपाइ गर्न सक्तछ र यसमा एउटा रङलेपन एकाइ पनि छ । यसले प्रतिघण्टा १६,००० पानाको दरले १,०२०मिमि x ७२० मिमि कागजको आकारमा छपाइ गर्न सक्तछ ।
